End of Dreams
End of Dreams
Is this is my fate?
to see the world come to an end
watch it go, make it last
just in case it begins again
but until then
I’m happy to have found a soul friend
until the end
I’m sick with intent
incurably unbent
my eyes have seen too much of this decaying event
of descent of which I cannot prevent
tears to the extent
tears for the sheep
being led to the slaughter
prayers for my only daughter
poetically licenced
enraged and insenced
prophet of past tence
relative innocence
dream life reconisence
word of truth recompence
bound to fate by the barrel of a gun
pray they don’t draft my only son
earth unbalanced, come undone
middle finger salute
under an angry sun
it this as bad as it seems?
is this the end of dreams?….
