Shrinking Violet in an Expanding Universe

Shrinking Violet
Hidden in a lily lies a bee
that’s so afraid
Sleepy and heady
he lies there in the flower
All the other bees buzz
that he is only a silly bee,
but he is not afraid
He feels that he’s been
separated some how and
somewhat agrivated
He wants to so much be a part
of this bed, but without
appreciating, the beauty
buzzing through time
Fear is good, Fear subsides
unless you’re afraid of being honest
Fear is good, unless fear resides,
unless you’re scared of being different
An artist created with created
things and the poet using words
that are not his own
yet the life blood we have
flowing through us is
so taken for granted
Fearful
Fearfully and Wonderfully made
