One
Walk a path, a moment in space
Race to embrace
This strange and unusual place
Pitfalls common everywhere,
yet we don’t even care…
Love and romance inevitable
and sincere
Some kind of wonderful here
Healing possibilities
An end to this leg of the race
Voraciously we begin to trace
the steps of where we left
our best face
Maybe we can be strong and,
life won’t be so wrong
A day will come
when the morning sun
bright and blue
we’ll no longer be split in two,
ONE
Wholeness obtained, life rearranged
feeling strange with less pain
Seems like a dream
Love as real as it seems
