Unfortunate God - Vampire’s Delight
I am my own unfortunate god
Aware that this may sound a little bit odd,
but it’s just my point of view
I have a virulent nature
My opinions not for sale
If enough is good, I’ll wish I had more
I’m not anti-thing, just anti-bling
Anti third-world gems and spinning rims
Can’t be part of that American dream
My mind shadow is my guiding light
so, muffle your cries if you don’t want to die
The darkness has eyes
Silent frequency
Silent scream divides me
From simple to sublime
Taste and touch and sense of mind
What is real is really blind
What is seen is false
What is unknown lost
Until darkness defines the light
You’ll keep losing what matters most
Feeding mental ghost
Not hearing the silent frequency
Hindered by the storm
Meanwhile, fate disguised as the norm
Losing the child within
The immortal sin
You came too late
So I don’t know where to begin
Simply put, this is the end
