Thanks for Nice Words!

Great story! I am so glad you sent me the DM on twitter. I am a huge animal lover, as a little girl I wanted my dad to get me a cow. I have no idea why, but I wanted a cow, and figured since I lived on a farm I should at least have a cow. It is heartbreaking to see how animals are treated. I am going to put the book on the to read list, and grab it as soon as possible. My dad had a 4H project as a kid, he was going to raise chickens. He was less than okay with finding out what they did to the chickens at the end - he had five chickens that died of old age. :) (He grew up to be a farmer, but only of corn and soybeans.) I great article, I look forward to reading more! — Connie
